Neosho man cited for felony DWI after two injured in collision on 59


A Neosho man was cited for felony driving while intoxicated (serious physical injury) following a two-vehicle collision 4:19 a.m. today on MO 59, one mile south of Goodman.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Buick Park Avenue driven by Austin T. Stoffel, 21, Neosho, crossed into the path of a 2018 Subaru Legacy driven by Linda S. Williams, 72, Grove, Oklahoma, and the vehicles collided.







Williams was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin,

Stoffel, who was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, careless and imprudent driving and failure to display valid plates, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman Neosho.
