According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Nissan Xterra driven by Jameson L. Elder, 36, Neosho, ran off the right side of the road, overturned and struck at tree.
Elder, who was also cited for careless and imprudent driving and for not wearing a seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
