A Joplin teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:40 p.m. Sunday on Alpaca Road at Greenwood Road, two miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Chevrolet pickup, driver unknown, struck the rear of a 2001 Dodge 2500 pickup driven by Dustin G. Martin, 39, Joplin, causing Martin's vehicle to run off the roadway and overturn.
The driver of the Chevrolet pickup fled the scene.
A passenger in the Martin vehicle, a 15-year-old boy, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
