Just in time for Halloween, visitors can discover the art of making chocolate. Learn about its Mayan roots to the innovations of the 19th century. Join park team members from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Harry S Truman Birthplace State Historic Site.Demonstrations include each step of the chocolate-making process from cacao pod to flavored chocolate. This event is free and open to the public.
