Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 2 p.m. today on Route JJ, six miles south of Rocky Comfort.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Suzuki G6XR600 motorcycle driven by Dustin L. Stephens, 42, Monett, struck a dog, traveled off the roadway and overturned.
Stephens was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
A passenger, Jamie L. Stephens, 45, Monett, was airlifted to Freeman to be treated for serious injuries.
