Seneca man injured in collision on Coyote Drive

A Seneca man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:25 p.m. Thursday on Coyote Drive, four miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse driven by John P. Larsen, 74, Seneca, failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am driven by a 16-year-old Seneca boy.

Larsen was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
