Carthage man injured in collision on HH

A Carthage man was injured in a two-vehicle collision 9 p.m. Tuesday on Route HH three miles west of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1967 Dodge Dart, driver unknown, hydroplaned into a 2022 Ford Escape driven by Bobby D. Kendrick, 52, Carthage.

After the impact, the driver of the Dodge Dart left the scene, abandoning his vehicle a short distance away.

Kendrick was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
