(From Neosho Area Habitat for Humanity)
The Neosho Area Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce that it has received two significant grants that will greatly assist in its mission of building safe and affordable homes for Newton County residents.
Chuck Brown, Jeff Maxwell, and Janet Penn of Southwest Missouri Bank presented the grant to Habitat Board members, Kent Farnsworth and Carrie Martin, as well as Habitat Director, Pris Jeffers Reed. Mr. Corley’s legacy in the Joplin area was not only as a successful businessman, with ventures such as Accents, The Duds Shop, and The Attic, but also as a philanthropist and community supporter.
These homes will be open to the public for viewing on August 6, marking a significant milestone in the affiliate's mission to provide affordable housing solutions for Newton County residents.
