(From the City of Joplin)The Joplin Area Transportation Study Organization (JATSO) is seeking comments during a 7-day public comment period for an amendment to the FY 2024 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP).
The UPWP is a yearly statement of work identifying the planning priorities and activities to be carried out within the JATO planning area.
The proposed UPWP amendment includes one (1) modified task. The amendment has been requested by the City of Joplin. The proposed amendment can be viewed on the JATSO website at:

The public comment period for this amendment will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, and will conclude at 12 noon on Friday, February 9, 2024.
This public notice, public involvement activities, and time established for public review and comments on the UPWP will satisfy the FTA Section 5307 Program of Projects requirements for the Metro Area Public Transit System (MAPS).
