Two Lockwood residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:10 p.m. Sunday on MO 37 and Highway K three milessouth of Golden City.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Chevrolet Cruise driven by Samantha J. Patton, 26, Lockwood, failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign and came into the path of a 2019 Chevrolet 3500 driven by John J. Shetler, 52, Lockwood. The vehicles collided and left the roadway.
Patton was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
Shetler was treated for moderate injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.
