Webb City woman airlifted to Fayetteville hospital following crash

A Webb City woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 5:15 p.m. Sunday on Highway E north of Silver Leaf Lane and three miles south of Powell.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Shala N. Clemons, 30, Webb City, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, returned to the roadway and struck a 2022 Honda Ridgeline driven by Steven T. Edwards, 68, Pineville, in the rear.

The Clemons vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

Clemons was flown to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to be treated for serious injuries.
