(From the City of Joplin)Starting Monday, July 22, Connecticut Ave. will be closed between 38th St. and 44th St., weather permitting.
Work is expected to continue through Tuesday, July 23. If there is a weather delay, work will begin/resume when possible. The road will open at the end of each workday, and the closure will resume each morning. Access will be maintained for the nearby residents during the closure. Alternate routes will have to be used during the work.
These closures will occur due to work in the roadway as part of the ongoing Connecticut Avenue widening project. The City appreciates your patience.
