A Lanagan man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 3:05 a.m. today on MO 59 three miles north of Lanagan.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Harley Davidson Superglide driven by William D. Linclon, 49, Lanagan, struck a deer in the roadway, traveled off the left of the roadway, struck a guardrail with Linclon being ejected down an embankment.
McDonald County Coroner John Fletcher pronounced Linclon dead at the scene at 4 a.m.
The fatality was the 52nd this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
