(From the Goodman Police Department)A few fake 5$ have come up in adjoining counties and cities as counterfeit. I want to communicate with the public and let everyone know that it is going around in case it reaches our city, and I want everyone to know what it looks like. So we can help prevent crimes from happening.
The face is much larger than a normal $ $5 bill. There is also a circle around its head. There are no stars, and it looks as if it was printed or very old.
If someone tries to cash these 5$ or pass them off as real money. Please call law enforcement and make small talk with them “buying” us time to get there.
