A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:35 a.m. Wednesday on MO 59 two miles south of Fidelity.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by Eligio R. Morles, 39, Joplin, turned into the path of another vehicle, swerved to avoid the vehicle, ran off the roadway and struck an embankment.
Morles was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
