07/15/2024 Officer investigated a theft not in progress on the 600 block of E 11th St. The stolen item was located later in the day.
07/15/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of W. 12th for a burglary not in progress. Investigation continues.
07/16/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Parry St for a disturbance involving a customer. One person was arrested, transported to the Barton County Jail and charged with Harassment First degree.
07/15/2024 Officer conducted a traffic stop on 12th St. Driver was charged with No Operator’s License and Narcotics Possession except 35 grams Marijuana.
07/17/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Maple St. for a verbal domestic in progress. One person left the residence and was not apprehended. Later in the day, officers returned to the residence and suspect was found in the house He was transported to the Barton County Jail for Probation Violation warrants. He was also charged with Assault 4th Degree and Resisting Arrest.
07/17/2028 While looking for the suspect in the verbal disturbance in the 700 block of Maple St, Officer found a bag in the backyard that contained several items that were later determined to have been stolen from the Lamar High School. Paperwork was completed for 2nd degree burglary and was forwarded to the Barton County Prosecutor.
07/17/2024 Officer took a vandalism report from the 400 block of W. 10th St. Investigation continues.
07/18/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Hagny St. for a possible disturbance. Suspect was located and arrested for felony warrants. The motorcycle belonging to the suspect had a license plate belonging to another.
07/18/2024 A search warrant was served in the 600 block of W. 9th. Paraphernalia was located as well as suspected methamphetamine.
