According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Ford Focus driven by a 95-year-old Cassville woman crossed the center line and struck a 2011 Dodge 3500 driven by a 34-year-old Cassville man.
Newton County Coroner Dale Owen pronounced the Cassville woman dead at the scene. The Cassville man was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
The fatality was the 73rd this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.

Just send sympathy to her loved ones for their loss. as I will send mine to yours for your ignorance. My sympathy and prayers to the lady loss in this accident and prayers to the other involved in accident for a speedy recovery and my apologies for the unnecessary comments because of ignorance of some.
