Crowder College weekly update

Academics
·         Enroll for Fall NOW. Courses are available for viewing online: https://my.crowder.edu/ICS/Academics/Public.jnz?portlet=Course_Schedules&screen=Advanced+Course+Search&screenType=next
·         Enrollment is NOW OPEN for the Joplin Advanced Training & Technology Center classes which will start August 21.
·         Drury University will have administrators on the Crowder College Neosho campus Tuesday, June 13, 1:30pm in Wright Conference Center, Room B, for a signing event. Crowder has partnered with Drury to provide students graduating with their Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Science, Psychology or Social Work; or an Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant; or an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paramedical Science on the following programs:
o    Emergency Management
o    Organizational Leadership
o    Health Services Management
·         The Adult Education & Literacy Program Graduation ceremony will be held Friday, June 16, 7pm, Bob Sneller Gymnasium on the Neosho campus.
·         Programs currently accepting application for Fall 2017 include:
·         The Nursing Programs in Neosho & Cassville are accepting application through August 15 for Spring 2018.

Athletics
·         Congratulations to the 24 Student-Athletes who earned NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Awards. Students had to earn a GPA of 3.6 or higher and complete at least 12 hours to be eligible. http://www.njcaa.org/awards/student-athlete-awards
·         Congratulations to the following Softball Players who earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American/All-Region Honors:
1st Team – Paige Mendoza (infielder), Oakley Sisemore (Outfielder), and Kristen Dempsey (Utility).
2nd Team – Maddie Massannelli (Pitcher) & Bailey Bunch (Infielder).

Community Events
·         NOW ENROLLING FOR FALL - Early Learning Center at Crowder. Children ages 3-5 (potty trained) may attend. Tuition is $10 per session with the following options: 5 days a week (M-F) $50 week (AM or PM session); 3 days a week (MWF) $30 week (AM or PM session); 2 days a week (TTh) $20 week (AM or PM session). AM session – 8:30-11am; PM session – 12:30-3pm. The Early Learning Center is located in Smith Hall on the Crowder College campus in Neosho.
