Five, including Joplin man, injured in crash in Laclede County, woman airlifted to Springfield

Five people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:13 a.m. today on Normal Drive, two miles from Eldridge in Laclede County.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Christi L. Burch, 51, Eldridge, swerved to avoid oncoming traffic, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Burch and three passengers, Blaiden D. Burch, 2, and Nevada S. Snyder, 0, both of Eldridge, and Phillip A. Clark, 47, Joplin, were treated for minor injuries at Lake Regional Medical Center, Lake Ozark.

Another passenger, Brittaney J. Snyder, 23, Eldridge, was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, to be treated for moderate injuries.
