Four injured, two seriously, in collision on 66

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 10:50 p.m. Thursday on MO 66, two miles west of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1972 Chevrolet C10 driven by Zackariah B. Green, 38, Joplin, attempted to make a lane change was struck by a 2016 Chevrolet Spark driven by Steven G. Ernst, 50, Baxter Springs. Both vehicles ran off the roadway.

Green was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

Ernst and a passenger in his vehicle, Abby J. Sadler, 23, Baxter Springs, were treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Another passenger, Christopher E. Graves, 46 Baxter Springs, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy.
