Three McDonald County residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 9:25 a.m. Sunday on U. S. 71, one mile north of the Missouri/Arkansas state line.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Honda CRV driven by Annie C. Hoyle, 78, Jane, was southbound and a 2006 Chevrolet 1500 pickup driven by James D. Brewer, 52, Pineville, was northbound turning west when they collided in the intersection. Both drivers said they had a green light.
Brewer, Hoyle, and a passenger in Brewer's vehicle, Rosetta L. Brewer, 56, Pineville, were treated for moderate injuries at Northwest Regional Hospital, Bentonville, Arkansas.
