Thirteen-year-old Webb City driver slams into trees, pole, two injured

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:19 a.m. today on Farm Road 1032, six miles east of Sarcoxie.

According to the Highway Patrol report, Gabriel J. Uitts, 13, Webb City, driving a 2018 Dodge Challenger, failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the left side of the roadway, collied with a fence, collided with a utility pole and collided with multiple trees.

Uitts and a passenger, Luke J. Uitts, 11, Reeds, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

    13 year old no license who gave him the keys? Where were the parents?

  2. Maybe he got them himself without the parent's knowledge 13 year olds have a way of doing things they shouldn't do sometimes

  3. No one GAVE him the keys, don't be stupid. The child took the keys and sneaked out without his parent's knowledge.
