Carl Junction Police: Search and rescue completed in Briarbook area, no fatalities or serious injuries

As of now, search and rescue in the Briarbrook area has been completed.

No fatalities reported at this time. 

Only superficial injuries like scrapes/cuts reported at this time. 

Roadways are now open to RESIDENTS OF BRIARBROOK ONLY. If you do not live in Briarbrook please avoid the area so utility workers can continue to clean up debris and power lines.

We wanted to give a huge shoutout to all the area agencies who came to our aid for this weather event.

We appreciate all the help with the chaos that occurred tonight. We are thankful it wasn't worse than it is. We are thankful we have no reported fatalities due to this storm, and we are thankful to have had so many helping hands jump in to sort out this mess.
