Connect2Culture and Spiva Center for the Arts will host The Cornell Complex Launch Party on Monday, June 3, 2019, 2:30pm on the Memorial Hall parking lot (7th Street & Wall Avenue, Joplin, MO 64801).
The public is invited to join Connect2Culture and Spiva Center for the Arts to celebrate Joplin’s future and the progress of the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex. Participants can enjoy music, honor donors, and receive the latest news about the complex.
The state-of-the-art visual and performing and visual arts complex will provide Joplin with a long-awaited home for the arts and cultural community. The Cornell Complex will feature a modern performance hall, outdoor amphitheater, rooftop terrace venue, expanded galleries, and functional community spaces. These amenities will allow Connect2Culture, Spiva, and the arts and cultural community-at-large to continue enriching Joplin and its surrounding areas culturally, artistically, and financially. Connect2Culture’s President/CFO, Clifford Wert, will give a formal update to Joplin City Council members at 6:00pm that same evening.
*In case of inclement weather, The Cornell Complex Launch Party will be held inside Memorial Hall.
