The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Newton County in southwestern Missouri...
  Northern McDonald County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 315 AM CDT.

* At 212 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wyandotte,
  or 14 miles southeast of Miami, moving east at 25 mph. Other
  strong to severe thunderstorms were located over central and
  northern Newton County. These storms are also moving east at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
