Today Chief Williams and the Carthage Fire Department had a small ribbon cutting at the new Station #2. The CFD is working on finishing touches of furniture and equipment and hope to be operational very shortly. Thanks to all that came out to the event
We are presently working to finalize delivery and installation of all furnishings and equipment to begin operations in the near future. This expansion has been a long awaited event and we just want to use this small ceremony as a way to assure the community that it is becoming a reality.
We also are planning to do a bit more elaborate Grand Opening in possibly a few weeks to allow for a more significant event to celebrate this achievement.
