Seneca Police Department makes arrests on car theft, drug trafficking, child neglect, weapons charges

On 5/26/19, Detective Charles went to a residence on Ottawa St in reference to a warrant out of Ottawa County, OK for Jeannie Evans.

Evans was arrested for: FTA Child Neglect, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, Maintaining a Dwelling where Controlled Substances are Kept or Stored, Failure to Affix Tax Stamp to Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Evans was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 5/20/19, Sergeant Wilson responded to an address on Wyandotte St to assist Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department in locating a vehicle which was taken without authorization from Ottawa Co, OK. 

Upon running the individuals at the residence, we discovered that Julynda Flores, who resides at the residence, had a Parole Violation Warrant for Dangerous Drugs. Flores was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 5/17/19, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Cherokee and Oneida for a moving violation. The male driver was arrested for DWS and transported to Newton County Jail. Upon research of his criminal history, he had three prior convictions for DWS.

On 5/12/19, Officer Thiel made a traffic stop at U Hwy and Bethel Rd for an equipment violation. The driver, Connie Bradford had an outstanding warrant out of Lawrence County for: No Insurance. Bradford was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.
