Wentworth woman injured when car hits deer

A Wentworth woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:50 a.m. today on MO 97, two miles north of Pierce City.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Mary E. George, 60, Wentworth, struck a deer.

George was treated for minor injuries at Cox Monett.

  1. She needs to buy deer horns. You can get a pack of two for less than $10.00 at O'Reilly. It only takes a couple of minutes to stick them under the grill, so they "catch the wind". The deer will hear you coming and clear out of the way.
