Local author Izzy B to appear at Joplin Public Library Friday

Joplin Public Library (JPL) is excited to welcome local author Izzy B. for his first library author visit from 10 to11 a.m. on Friday, July 5 in the library’s community room. The event is open to children up to age twelve and their families.

Izzy B. (also known as Isaiah Basye) will be promoting his newest picture book release, Imaginary Fiends. Children and their families are invited to listen to Izzy B. read his imaginative and hilarious new book, as well as enjoy activities related to the book following the reading. You may even end up in an Izzy B. illustration!

Izzy B’s books will be available for sale immediately after the event. Basye’s other titles include Count Spatulaand A Tighty-Whitie Wind.
