Seneca man seriously injured crashing into tree near Anderson

A Seneca man was injured in a one-vehicle crash 10:15 p.m. Sunday on MO 76, a quarter of a mile west of Anderson.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Pontiac Vibe driven by Garrett R. Payne, 25, Seneca, traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, then a tree and overturned.

Payne was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
