Joplin woman injured in three-vehicle, chain reaction accident

A Joplin woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident 9:55 a.m. today on Business 49, south of River Road, two miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Honda Ridgeline driven by Shadrack W. Scheppert, 27, Neosho, struck the rear of a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Lauren E. Rowden, 28, Joplin, causing it to hit the rear of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee driven by Kathleen E. Greenwood, 86, Joplin.

Rowden was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
