Wyandotte woman killed in crash on 43

A Wyandotte, Oklahoma woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash 1:40 p.m. today on MO 43, four miles north of Tiff City.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Buick Enclave driven by Rolla J. Rigsby, 71, Wyandotte, turned into the path of a 2017 Jeep Cherokee driven by Kara E. Skehen, 25, Seneca, and was struck.

McDonald County Coroner William Goodwin declared Rigsby dead at the scene at 3:09 p.m.








Skehen and a passenger in the Rigsby vehicle, Matthew S. Sawdey, 30, Wyandotte, were treated for minor and moderate injuries, respectively, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

The fatality was the 11th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
