A Joplin man was cited for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 11:28 a.m. today on Coyote Drive, a quarter of a mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2020 Tao Tao scooter driven by Daniel L. Black, 23, Joplin, ran off the roadway and overturned.
Black, who was also cited for driving while suspended, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
