A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:55 a.m. today on Route JJ, three miles northeast of Jasper.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Joshua G. Schmidt, 38, Carthage, veered off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
Schmidt was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
