A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:50 p.m. Monday on Route YY, one mile north of Carl Junction.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Chrysler 300 driven by Jeren A. Kent, 22, Joplin, struck a deer, then traveled off the roadway.
Kent was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
