Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:48 pm. Tuesday on Bear Hollow Road, four miles south of Jane.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Dodge 1500 PK driven by Vernon Hood, 79, Pineville, ran off the right side of the road and traveled down a steep embankment.
Hood was flown to Washington Regional Hospital, Fayetteville, Arkansas, with serious injuries.
A passenger, Katrena Hood, 53, Pineville, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Arkansas.
