Pearl Avenue to close from 6th to 7th Street as courthouse construction begins

Due to the construction of the new Jasper County Courthouse in the 600 block of Pearl Avenue, a portion of Pearl Avenue will be permanently closed. Starting January 8, 2021, Pearl Avenue will be closed from 6th to 7th Streets as the building construction begins.

Drivers are reminded to use caution while traveling near this area and to yield to barricades marking the closure.
