(From the Joplin Police Department)Friday afternoon the Joplin Police Department held a badge pinning ceremony to recognize several officers in the department who have graduated field training and also those who have received recent promotions.
Four officers have graduated from training and are now serving the citizens of Joplin as Police Officers. They are Officer Kenneth Andersen, Officer Thomas Mayfield, Officer Garritt Pearish, and Officer Ron Donahue.
Additionally, we recognized three officers who were recently promoted. They are Corporal Brett Davis, Corporal Derek Zentner, and Sergeant Michael Gauss.
We are proud to recognize these officers, celebrate their accomplishments and we wish them the best as they move forward into their next assignments. Please join us in congratulating them on a job well done.
