A Carl Junction man was injured in a tractor accident 9:14 a.m. Saturday on private property on Kafir Road, a quarter-mile north of Carl Junction.
According to the Highway Patrol report, James S. Shaw, 86, Carl Junction, who was a passenger on a New Holland farm tractor model 6610 driven by Rolena J. Shaw, 81, Carl Junction, fell off the tractor and was run over.
Shaw was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Joplin, to be treated for serious injuries.
