Highway Patrol Troop D announces promotion of Lamar High School graduates

Captain D. Scott Sater, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, Missouri, announces the following promotions.

Effective July 1, 2022, Corporal Bradley L. Crockett was promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated the zone supervisor of Zone 5, which serves Jasper County. Crockett was appointed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol on January 7, 2008, as a member of the 87th Recruit Class. 








After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop D, Zone 9, serving Cedar and St. Clair counties. He transferred to Zone 11, which serves Jasper County, in June 2011. He was promoted to corporal in June 2018, and remained in Zone 11, Jasper County.

Sergeant Crockett graduated from Lamar High School in 2005. He earned his associate degree in criminal justice, from Mineral Area College, in July 2008.

Effective August 1, 2022, Trooper Matt Cook was promoted to the rank of corporal, and assigned as assistant zone supervisor in Zone 11, which serves Jasper County. Cook was appointed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol on July 1, 2008, as a member of the 88th Recruit Class. 

After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, Cook was assigned to Troop C, Zone 5, which serves Lincoln and Pike counties. On October 1, 2011, he transferred to Troop D, Zone 9, which serves Cedar and St. Clair counties. 








On October 1, 2012, he transferred to Zone 6, Lawrence County. On May 15, 2016, he transferred to Zone 5, Jasper County. He then transferred to Zone 11, Jasper County, on July 1, 2018.

Corporal Cook graduated from Lamar High School in 2005. He graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 2011, with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice administration.
