Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:05 p.m. Thursday on W. 52nd Street, two miles south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2020 Hyundai Elantra driven by Derrick S. Grubb, 23, Joplin, failed to yield and was struck by a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Ralph B. Gregory, 64, Pierce City.
Grubb was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
Gregory was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Carthage.
