Seneca man killed in 3-vehicle accident on 86

A Seneca man was killed in a 3-vehicle accident 5:03 p.m. Tuesday on MO 86 one mile south of Redings Mill.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2021 Indian motorcycle driven by Nicholas M. Glover, 22, Seneca, attempted to pass on a curve into oncoming traffic.

The motorcycle sideswiped a 2007 Kia Sportage driven by Karen M. Love, 62, Joplin, then struck a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Angela K. Jackson, 53, Neosho, head on.







Glover was pronounced dead at the scene by Newton County Deputy Coroner Jerry Deems at 5:20 p.m.

The fatality was the seventh this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
