Three suffer serious injuries in head-on collision east of Granby

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 3:41 p.m. Friday on U.S. 60 and Highway W five miles east of Granby.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Fiat 500 driven by Kimberly J. Archer, 21, Purdy, was making a left turn and turned into the path of a 2001 Mazda CX9 driven by Kenneth S. Smith, 58, Monett. The two vehicle collided head on.

Archer, Smith and a passenger in the Archer vehicle, Kelly R. Wolfe, 20, Wheaton, were treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
