Joplin Police Department swears in two new officers

The Joplin Police Department is proud to recognize our two newest officers who were sworn in earlier this morning. 

Officer Dylan Box and Officer Ryan Berry are lateral hires and come to us from the Newton County Sheriff’s Office with a combined 20 years of law enforcement experience. 

We welcome them to the JPD family and wish them the best as they start a new chapter here serving the citizens of Joplin.

 
As lateral hires, Officer Box and Officer Berry qualify for the Lateral Recruitment Incentive offered by the City of Joplin. 

Following the completion of all training requirements, each of them will receive the $10,000 lateral incentive payment. Congratulations to each of you!
