(From the Lamar Police Department)Members of the Lamar Police Department have been busy recently with investigations of several property crimes.
Several of these investigations resulted in charges being filed through the Barton County Prosecutor’s Office. It should be noted that not all of these cases are related.

In all cases, charges are based on probable cause and all persons are considered innocent until or unless found guilty in court.
These crimes were investigated by Lt. Shaw, Sgt. Bray, Sgt. Cornell, Ofc. Mitch Shaw, Ofc. Gerster, Cpl. Hockett and Ofc. Carbone. The following have been charged with property crimes over the past couple of weeks.
