Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:40 p.m. Wednesday on I-49 one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Dodge 1500 driven by Shawn D. Gagnon, 28, Anderson, struck a 2014 GMC Savana driven by David M. Wachs, 69, Aberdeen, South Dakota, which was slowing due to a crash ahead.
Gagnon was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
Wachs was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
