(From Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School)
The Dec. 4 performance of The Nutcracker by the New York Theatre Ballet sold out in less than 8 hours Sunday.
Due to the high demand for tickets to this show, we have arranged a
Matinee Performance at 3:30 p.m.
on the same day.
In its fourth season, the annual Concert & Theater Series at Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School brings world-class, professional performers to the Joplin community. We are pleased to be able to offer this second performance by the New York Theatre Ballet so more people in the community can experience the magic of this Christmas tradition.
This show is extremely popular, and we expect this second performance to sell out quickly. Please order your tickets today.
Tickets are available now for the 3:30 p.m. matinee performance:
Tickets sold exclusively through the TJ Box Office website at www.tjeffschool.org/concerts
The New York Theatre Ballet will perform the same ballet at both shows.
Culture at the high school founded by Turner's benefactor--Yippee!
ReplyDeleteCulture at school district that fired Turner--Boo!!! Hiss!!!
Culture at R8 paid for by unwitting tax payers. (Boo!!)
ReplyDeleteCulture at TJ is paid for by fully informed parents who pay tuition and approve of funds being directed toward said culture. (Yippee!!)
(Oh, and we get to pay taxes for the schools our children don't use as well.)
So TJ is run like an Athenian democracy? Or by a governing board that decides how funds are spent?
ReplyDeleteLike a school board.
You're no more "witting" than anyone else.
