Monday night's storm created a predictable increase in dogs running loose.
When there is a storm prediction such as the one that hit Monday night, please take precautions with your animals.
Electrical storms are terrifying to some animals. So take precautions and make them as comfortable as possible.They may go over, under, or through fences.
The other thing that happens in these type of storms, wind will sometimes blow fence gates open, or sometimes damage sections of fence.
Please before you let your dogs out, check to make sure the fence is still upright and the gates are secure. We had several dogs running loose yesterday for both of these reasons.
