Joplin, Neosho residents injured in crash on Business 49

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:50 p.m. Tuesday on Business 49, 1.5 miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Fredricka M. Woods, 51, Neosho, was attempting to make a left turn and turned into the path of a 2004 GMC Canyon driven by Jacqueline A. Lang, 70, Joplin. The Woods vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a fence.

Woods and a passenger in her vehicle, Isabelle King, 12, Neosho, were treated at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, for moderate and minor injuries, respectively.

Lang was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
