Woman arrested by JPD for trespassing has 7.3 grams of crystal meth in her pants

Yesterday at 5:06 p.m. officers were dispatched to 1419 West 9th Street in reference to a possible burglary in progress. 

When an officer arrived, he saw a male and female in a detached garage. He contacted them, and both admitted they didn't have any right to be there. 

The 35-year-old male gave his brother's name as his, was arrested for obstruction, trespassing and city warrants. The 31-year-old female was arrested for trespassing and it was discovered she had meth, paraphernalia and a prescription pill in her purse. 

At the jail she was found to have three bags of crystal meth concealed in her pants along with 2 bags of marijuana. The total weight of the meth was 7.3 grams. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
